6 I will (A)lay it waste;
It will not be pruned or hoed,
But briars and thorns will come up.
I will also command the clouds to (B)rain no rain on it.”
7 For the (C)vineyard of Yahweh of hosts is the house of Israel
And the men of Judah His delightful plant.
Thus He hoped for justice, but behold, (D)bloodshed;
For righteousness, but behold, a cry of distress.
Woes to Those Who Call Evil Good
8 Woe to those who (E)add house to house and join field to field,
Until there is no more room,
So that you have to live alone in the midst of the land!

6 我不再修剪，不再鋤地，
也不再降雨，
任由它荒廢，長滿荊棘和蒺藜。」
7 萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列，
祂所喜愛的葡萄樹就是猶大人。
祂希望看到公平，
卻只看見殺戮；
指望看到公義，
卻只聽見冤聲。

6 I will make it a wasteland,(A)
neither pruned nor cultivated,
and briers and thorns(B) will grow there.
I will command the clouds
not to rain(C) on it.”
7 The vineyard(D) of the Lord Almighty
is the nation of Israel,
and the people of Judah
are the vines he delighted in.
And he looked for justice,(E) but saw bloodshed;
for righteousness,(F) but heard cries of distress.(G)
