Isaiah 49:3-4

New International Version

³ He said to me, “You are my servant,^(A)
    Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.^(B)”
⁴ But I said, “I have labored in vain;^(C)
    I have spent my strength for nothing at all.
Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand,^(D)
    and my reward^(E) is with my God.”^(F)
