4 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing ^(B)open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a ^(C)trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

^25 [a]Now ^(A)to Him who is able to establish you ^(B)according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to the revelation of the mystery ^(D)kept secret since the world began ²⁶ but ^(E)now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for ^(F)obedience to the faith—

Jesus Teaches the Fear of God^(A)

²⁷ “Whatever I tell you in the dark, ^(B)speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, ^(A)for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

⁸ Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

⁹ And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. ^10 (A)Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, ^(B)but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but ^(C)the wise shall understand.

¹¹ “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. ¹² Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

¹³ “But you, go your way till the end; ^(D)for you shall rest, ^(E)and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
