First and Last

² So he prayed to Adonai and said, “Please, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my own country? That’s what I anticipated, fleeing to Tarshish—for I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and full of kindness, and relenting over calamity.

²⁷ “Shalom I leave you, My shalom I give to you; but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.

Yeshua Appears to the Disciples

¹⁹ It was evening on that day, the first of the week. When the doors were locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Judean leaders, Yeshua came and stood in their midst! And He said to them, “Shalom aleichem!”

Shalom with God through Messiah

5 Therefore, having been made righteous by trusting, we have shalom with God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. ^{[a] 2} Through Him we also have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and boast in the hope of God’s glory.

³ Grace to you and shalom from God our Father and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah—

² Grace and shalom to you, from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah!
