² This is what the Lord says—
    he who made^(A) you, who formed you in the womb,^(B)
    and who will help^(C) you:
Do not be afraid,^(D) Jacob, my servant,^(E)
    Jeshurun,^[a](F) whom I have chosen.

⁸ Do not tremble, do not be afraid.
    Did I not proclaim^(A) this and foretell it long ago?
You are my witnesses. Is there any God^(B) besides me?
    No, there is no other Rock;^(C) I know not one.”
