Isaiah 43:22-25
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
22 Yet you did not call upon me, O Jacob;
but you have been weary of me, O Israel!(A)
23 You have not brought me your sheep for burnt offerings
or honored me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with offerings
or wearied you with frankincense.(B)
24 You have not bought me sweet cane with money
or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices.
Rather, you have burdened me with your sins;
you have wearied me with your iniquities.(C)
25 I alone am the one
who blots out your transgressions for my own sake,
and I will not remember your sins.(D)
Isaiah 43:22-25
International Standard Version
God is Weary of Israel
22 “And[a] yet you didn’t call upon me, Jacob;
indeed, you are tired of me, Israel!
23 You haven’t brought me your sheep for a burnt offering,[b]
nor have you honored me with[c] your sacrifices,
nor have you made meal offerings for me[d]—
yet I have not tired you about incense!
24 You[e] haven’t bought me sweet cane with money,
nor have you satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices.
You have only burdened me with your sins
and made me tired with your iniquities.
25 “I, I am the one
who blots out your transgression[f] for my own sake,
and I’ll remember your sins no more.[g]
