Isaiah 43:16-21
New American Standard Bible
16 This is what the Lord says,
He who (A)makes a way through the sea
And a path through the mighty waters,
17 Who brings out the (B)chariot and the horse,
The army and the mighty man
(They will lie down together and not rise again;
They have been (C)extinguished, and have gone out like a wick):
18 “(D)Do not call to mind the former things,
Or consider things of the past.
19 Behold, I am going to do something (E)new,
Now it will spring up;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even (F)make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
20 The animals of the field will glorify Me,
The (G)jackals and the ostriches,
Because I have (H)given waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My chosen people.
21 The people whom (I)I formed for Myself
(J)Will declare My praise.

16 Thus saith Jehovah, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; 17 [a]who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as a wick): 18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen, 21 the people which I formed for myself, [b]that they might set forth my praise.
