Isaiah 43:17-21

New International Version

¹⁷ who drew out^(A) the chariots and horses,^(B)
    the army and reinforcements together,^(C)
and they lay^(D) there, never to rise again,
    extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:^(E)
18 “Forget the former things;^(F)
    do not dwell on the past.
¹⁹ See, I am doing a new thing!^(G)
    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness^(H)
    and streams in the wasteland.^(I)
20 The wild animals^(J) honor me,
    the jackals^(K) and the owls,
because I provide water^(L) in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
²¹     the people I formed^(M) for myself^(N)
    that they may proclaim my praise.^(O)
