Isaiah 42:7-9

New American Standard Bible

⁷To ^(A)open blind eyes,
To ^(B)bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
⁸^(C)I am the Lord, that is ^(D)My name;
I will not give My ^(E)glory to another,
Nor My praise to idols.
⁹Behold, the ^(F)former things have come to pass,
Now I declare ^(G)new things;
Before they sprout I proclaim them to you.”

⁷to open eyes that are blind,^(A)
to free^(B) captives from prison^(C)
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.^(D)

⁸“I am the Lord;^(E) that is my name!^(F)
    I will not yield my glory to another^(G)
    or my praise to idols.^(H)
⁹See, the former things^(I) have taken place,
    and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
