4 1 In that day(A) seven women
will take hold of one man(B)
and say, “We will eat our own food(C)
and provide our own clothes;
only let us be called by your name.
Take away our disgrace!”(D)
The Branch of the Lord
2 In that day(E) the Branch of the Lord(F) will be beautiful(G) and glorious, and the fruit(H) of the land will be the pride and glory(I) of the survivors(J) in Israel. 3 Those who are left in Zion,(K) who remain(L) in Jerusalem, will be called holy,(M) all who are recorded(N) among the living in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the filth(O) of the women of Zion;(P) he will cleanse(Q) the bloodstains(R) from Jerusalem by a spirit[a] of judgment(S) and a spirit[b] of fire.(T) 5 Then the Lord will create(U) over all of Mount Zion(V) and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night;(W) over everything the glory[c](X) will be a canopy.(Y) 6 It will be a shelter(Z) and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge(AA) and hiding place from the storm(AB) and rain.

4 På den dagen ska sju kvinnor ta tag i samme man och säga:
”Vi ska själva skaffa oss mat och kläder,
om vi bara får använda ditt namn.
Låt oss få slippa vår vanära!”
De räddades framtid
2 Den dagen ska rotskottet från Herren bli till prydnad och ära och landets frukt till stolthet och härlighet för dem som räddats i Israel. 3 Den som blir kvar i Sion och stannar i Jerusalem kallas helig, var och en som är skriven bland de levande i Jerusalem. 4 Herren ska tvätta av all orenhet från Sions döttrar och skölja bort blodskulden från Jerusalem genom domens och reningens ande. 5 Herren ska över hela Sions berg och över de församlade där skapa ett moln om dagen, en rök och en flammande eld om natten. Över allt ska hans härlighet vara ett skydd.[a] 6 Där ska finnas ett skydd för dagens hetta och en tillflykt undan storm och regn.

The Branch of the Lord Glorified
2 In that day (E)the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and (F)the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel. 3 (G)And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called (H)holy, everyone who has (I)been recorded for life in Jerusalem, 4 when (J)the Lord shall have washed away the filth of (K)the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by (L)a spirit of burning.[a] 5 Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies (M)a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be (N)a canopy. 6 (O)There will be a (P)booth for shade by day from the heat, and (Q)for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.
