7 The [a]scorched land will become a pool
And the thirsty ground (A)springs of water;
In the (B)haunt of jackals, its resting place,
Grass becomes reeds and rushes.
8 (C)A highway will be there, (D)a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of (E)Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for the one who walks that way,
And (F)fools will not wander on it.
9 No (G)lion will be there,
Nor will any vicious animal go up on it;
[b]They will not be found there.
But (H)the redeemed will walk there,

In the haunts where jackals(C) once lay,
grass and reeds(D) and papyrus will grow.
8 And a highway(E) will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;(F)
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean(G) will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 No lion(H) will be there,
nor any ravenous beast;(I)
they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed(J) will walk there,

7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
