6 The sword of Yahweh is filled with blood;
It is [a]sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For Yahweh has a sacrifice in (A)Bozrah
And a great slaughter in the land of (B)Edom.
7 (C)And wild oxen will also [b]fall with them,
And (D)young bulls with strong ones;
Thus their land will be (E)soaked with blood,
And their dust [c]become greasy with fat.
8 For Yahweh has a day of (F)vengeance,
A year of recompense for the [d]cause of Zion.

With the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For (B)the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah,
And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
7 The wild oxen shall come down with them,
And the young bulls with the mighty bulls;
Their land shall be soaked with blood,
And their dust [b]saturated with fatness.”
8 For it is the day of the Lord’s (C)vengeance,
The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
