New International Version

¹³Thorns^(A) will overrun her citadels,
nettles and brambles her strongholds.^(B)
She will become a haunt for jackals,^(C)
a home for owls.^(D)

⁴⁴Cada árbol se conoce por el fruto que produce. De los espinos no se pueden recoger higos ni de las zarzas se cosechan uvas.

⁴⁴Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.^(A) People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.
