²⁹ For ^(A)our God is a consuming fire.

¹⁰ he himself ^(A)shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is ^(B)poured out full strength into ^(C)the cup of His indignation. ^(D)He shall be tormented with ^(E)fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

⁴⁶ And ^(A)these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

⁴¹ “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ^(A)‘Depart from Me, you cursed, ^(B)into the everlasting fire prepared for ^(C)the devil and his angels:

^8 (A)“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.

²⁴ And you said: ‘Surely the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and ^(A)we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he ^(B)still lives. ²⁵ Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; ^(C)if we hear the voice of the Lord our God anymore, then we shall die.

¹⁰ The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone ^(A)where^[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they ^(B)will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
