Isaiah 30:26-28
Names of God Bible
26 Then the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun. The light of the sun will be seven times as strong, like the light of seven days. When that day comes, Yahweh will bandage his people’s injuries and heal the wounds he inflicted.
27 The name of Yahweh is going to come from far away.
His anger is burning.
His burden is heavy.
His lips are filled with fury.
His tongue is like a devouring flame.
28 His breath is like an overflowing stream.
It rises neck high,
sifting the nations with a sieve of destruction,
placing a bit in the mouths of the people
to lead them astray.
Isaiah 30:26-28
English Standard Version
26 (A)Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when (B)the Lord binds up (C)the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow.
27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar,
burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke;[a]
his lips are full of fury,
and his tongue is like a devouring fire;
28 (D)his breath is (E)like an overflowing stream
that reaches up to the neck;
to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction,
and to place on the jaws of the peoples (F)a bridle that leads astray.
