¹⁴ The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen,^(A) white^(B) and clean.

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts^(B) of God’s holy people.)

The Rich Man and Lazarus

¹⁹ “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.^(A)

¹⁰ I clothed you with an embroidered^(A) dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen^(B) and covered you with costly garments.^(C)
