Isaiah 2:6-9
New American Standard Bible
6 For You have (A)abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob,
Because they are filled with influences from the east,
And they are soothsayers (B)like the Philistines.
They also [a](C)strike bargains with the children of foreigners.
7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold
And there is no end to their treasures;
Their land has also been filled with (D)horses,
And there is no end to their chariots.
8 Their land has also been (E)filled with idols;
They worship the (F)work of their hands,
That which their fingers have made.
9 So (G)the common person has been humbled
And the person of importance has been brought low,
But (H)do not forgive them.

Isaiah 2:6-9
Lexham English Bible
6 For you have forsaken your people, house of Jacob,
because they are full[a] from the east,
and of soothsayers like the Philistines,
and they make alliances[b] with the offspring of foreigners.
7 And its land is filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to its treasures;
and its land is filled with horses,
and there is no end to its chariots.
8 Its land is filled with idols;
they bow down to the work of their[c] hands,
to what they made with their[d] fingers.
9 So humanity is humbled;
everyone is humbled,
and you must not forgive them.
