10 (A)Enter the rock and hide in the dust
(B)From the dread of Yahweh and from the splendor of His majesty.
11 The [a](C)lofty look of [b]man will be made low,
And the [c](D)men made high will be bowed down,
And Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.

12 For Yahweh of hosts will have a day of reckoning
Against (E)everyone who is proud and high
And against everyone who is lifted up,
That he may be made low.
13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up,
Against all the (F)oaks of Bashan,
14 Against all the (G)high mountains,
Against all the hills that are lifted up,
15 Against every (H)lofty tower,
Against every fortified wall,
16 Against all the (I)ships of Tarshish
And against all the desirable craft.
17 The loftiness of [d]man will be bowed down,
And the [e]men who are high will be made low;
And Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day,

12 For [a]there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low; 13 and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, 14 and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, 15 and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall, 16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant [b]imagery. 17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.
