Isaiah 26:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 The (A)way of the righteous is smooth;
O Upright One, (B)make the path of the righteous level.
8 Indeed, while following the way of (C)Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
(D)Your name, and (E)remembering You, is the desire of our souls.
9 (F)At night [a]my soul longs for You,
Indeed, [b]my spirit within me (G)seeks You diligently;
For when the earth [c]experiences Your judgments,
The inhabitants of the world (H)learn righteousness.

7 The way of the just is uprightness;
(A)O Most Upright,
You [a]weigh the path of the just.
8 Yes, (B)in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have (C)waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You.
9 (D)With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
