Isaiah 24:3-6

New International Version

⁴ The earth dries up^(D) and withers,^(E)
    the world languishes and withers,
    the heavens^(F) languish with the earth.^(G)
5 The earth is defiled^(H) by its people;
    they have disobeyed^(I) the laws,
violated the statutes
    and broken the everlasting covenant.^(J)
6 Therefore a curse^(K) consumes the earth;
    its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,^(L)
    and very few are left.
