Isaiah 2:1-3
New International Version
The Mountain of the Lord(A)
2 This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:(B)
2 In the last days(C)
the mountain(D) of the Lord’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;(E)
it will be exalted(F) above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.(G)
3 Many peoples(H) will come and say,
Isaiah 4:3-4

3 Those who are left in Zion,(A) who remain(B) in Jerusalem, will be called holy,(C) all who are recorded(D) among the living in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the filth(E) of the women of Zion;(F) he will cleanse(G) the bloodstains(H) from Jerusalem by a spirit[a] of judgment(I) and a spirit[b] of fire.(J)

12 In that day the Lord will thresh(A) from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt,(B) and you, Israel, will be gathered(C) up one by one. 13 And in that day(D) a great trumpet(E) will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled(F) in Egypt(G) will come and worship(H) the Lord on the holy mountain(I) in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 28:14-16
New International Version
14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord,(A) you scoffers(B)
who rule this people in Jerusalem.
15 You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death,(C)
with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement.
When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by,(D)
it cannot touch us,
for we have made a lie(E) our refuge
and falsehood[a] our hiding place.(F)”
16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

Isaiah 31:4-9
New International Version
4 This is what the Lord says to me:
“As a lion(A) growls,
a great lion over its prey—
and though a whole band of shepherds(B)
is called together against it,
it is not frightened by their shouts
or disturbed by their clamor(C)—
so the Lord Almighty will come down(D)
to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.
5 Like birds hovering(E) overhead,
the Lord Almighty will shield(F) Jerusalem;
he will shield it and deliver(G) it,
he will ‘pass over’(H) it and will rescue it.”
6 Return,(I) you Israelites, to the One you have so greatly revolted(J) against. 7 For in that day(K) every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold(L) your sinful hands have made.(M)
8 “Assyria(N) will fall by no human sword;
a sword, not of mortals, will devour(O) them.
They will flee before the sword
and their young men will be put to forced labor.(P)
9 Their stronghold(Q) will fall because of terror;
at the sight of the battle standard(R) their commanders will panic,(S)”
declares the Lord,
whose fire(T) is in Zion,
whose furnace(U) is in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 33:17-20
New International Version
17 Your eyes will see the king(A) in his beauty(B)
and view a land that stretches afar.(C)
18 In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror:(D)
“Where is that chief officer?
Where is the one who took the revenue?
Where is the officer in charge of the towers?(E)”
19 You will see those arrogant people(F) no more,
people whose speech is obscure,
whose language is strange and incomprehensible.(G)
Isaiah 36:2-7
New International Version
2 Then the king of Assyria sent his field commander with a large army from Lachish(A) to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. When the commander stopped at the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field,(B) 3 Eliakim(C) son of Hilkiah the palace administrator,(D) Shebna(E) the secretary,(F) and Joah(G) son of Asaph the recorder(H) went out to him.
4 The field commander said to them, “Tell Hezekiah:
“‘This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: On what are you basing this confidence of yours? 5 You say you have counsel and might for war—but you speak only empty words. On whom are you depending, that you rebel(I) against me? 6 Look, I know you are depending(J) on Egypt,(K) that splintered reed(L) of a staff, which pierces the hand of anyone who leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him. 7 But if you say to me, “We are depending(M) on the Lord our God”—isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed,(N) saying to Judah and Jerusalem, “You must worship before this altar”?(O)

25 “I have stirred(A) up one from the north,(B) and he comes—
one from the rising sun who calls on my name.
He treads(C) on rulers as if they were mortar,
as if he were a potter treading the clay.
26 Who told of this from the beginning,(D) so we could know,

No one told of this,
no one foretold(E) it,

I gave to Jerusalem a messenger of good news.(H)
