Isaiah 16:2-4
New International Version
2 Like fluttering birds
pushed from the nest,(A)
so are the women of Moab(B)
at the fords(C) of the Arnon.(D)

New King James Version
2 For it shall be as a (A)wandering bird thrown out of the nest;
So shall be the daughters of Moab at the fords of the (B)Arnon.
3 “Take counsel, execute judgment;
Make your shadow like the night in the middle of the day;
Hide the outcasts,
Do not betray him who escapes.
4 Let My outcasts dwell with you, O Moab;
Be a shelter to them from the face of the [a]spoiler.
For the extortioner is at an end,
Devastation ceases,
The oppressors are consumed out of the land.

grant justice;
(B)make your shade like night
at the height of noon;
shelter the outcasts;
do not reveal the fugitive;
4 let (C)the outcasts of Moab
sojourn among you;
be a shelter to them[a]
from the destroyer.
When the oppressor is no more,
and destruction has ceased,
and he who tramples underfoot has vanished from the land,
