Isaiah 14:28-32

²⁹ “Do not rejoice, O ^(C)Philistia, all of you,
Because the rod that ^(D)struck you is broken;
For from the serpent’s root a ^(E)viper will come out,
And its fruit will be a ^(F)flying serpent.
³⁰ “^[b]Those who are most ^(G)helpless will eat,
And the needy will lie down in security;
I will ^[c]destroy your root with ^(H)famine,
And it will kill off your survivors.
³¹ “Wail, O ^(I)gate; cry, O city;
^[d]Melt away, O ^(J)Philistia, all of you;
For smoke comes from the ^(K)north,
And ^(L)there is no straggler in his ranks.
³² “How then will one answer the ^(M)messengers of the nation?
That ^(N)the Lord has founded Zion,
And ^(O)the afflicted of His people will seek refuge in it.”
