3 他必以敬畏耶和华为乐。
他不凭眼见施行审判，
不凭耳闻断定是非，
4 而是按公义审判贫穷人，
以公正为受苦者断案。
他必用口中的杖击打世界，
以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。
5 公义必作他的腰带，
信实必作他肋下的带子。

5 公義必作他的腰帶，
信實必作他肋下的帶子。

3 and he will delight in the fear(A) of the Lord.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,(B)
or decide by what he hears with his ears;(C)
4 but with righteousness(D) he will judge the needy,(E)
with justice(F) he will give decisions for the poor(G) of the earth.
He will strike(H) the earth with the rod of his mouth;(I)
with the breath(J) of his lips he will slay the wicked.(K)
5 Righteousness will be his belt(L)
and faithfulness(M) the sash around his waist.(N)

Hindi siya mamumuno at hahatol batay lang sa kanyang nakita o narinig sa iba. 4 Bibigyan niya ng katarungan ang mga mahihirap at ipagtatanggol ang kanilang mga karapatan. Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang salita, parurusahan niya ang mga tao sa mundo at mamamatay ang masasamang tao. 5 Paiiralin niya ang katarungan at katapatan, ito ang magiging pinakasinturon niya.
