^11 (A)In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, ^(B)from Assyria, ^(C)from Egypt, from ^(D)Pathros, from ^(E)Cush,^[a] from ^(F)Elam, from ^(G)Shinar, from ^(H)Hamath, and from ^(I)the coastlands of the sea.

The Remnant of Israel Will Return

^20 (A)In that day ^(B)the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more ^(C)lean on him who struck them, but ^(D)will lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

²⁶ And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

⁴ For the children of Israel ^(A)shall dwell many days ^(B)without king or prince, ^(C)without sacrifice or ^(D)pillar, without ^(E)ephod or ^(F)household gods. ⁵ Afterward ^(G)the children of Israel shall return and ^(H)seek the Lord their God, and ^(I)David their king, ^(J)and they shall come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in the ^(K)latter days.

⁸ “And it shall come to pass in that day, declares the Lord of hosts, that I will ^(A)break his ^(B)yoke from off your neck, and I will ^(C)burst your bonds, ^(D)and foreigners shall no more make a servant of him.^{[a] 9} But they shall serve the Lord their God and ^(E)David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

⁴⁰ “But if ^(A)they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they ^(B)committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me, ⁴¹ so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies—if then their ^(C)uncircumcised heart is ^(D)humbled and they make amends for their iniquity, ⁴² then I will ^(E)remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will ^(F)remember the land.
