Isaiah 1
English Standard Version
1 The (A)vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem (B)in the days of (C)Uzziah, (D)Jotham, (E)Ahaz, and (F)Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
The Wickedness of Judah
2 (G)Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O (H)earth;
for the Lord has spoken:
“Children[a] (I)have I reared and brought up,
but they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox (J)knows its owner,
and the donkey its master's crib,
but Israel does (K)not know,
my people do not understand.”
4 Ah, sinful nation,
a people laden with iniquity,
(L)offspring of evildoers,
children who deal corruptly!
They have forsaken the Lord,
they have (M)despised (N)the Holy One of Israel,
they are utterly (O)estranged.
5 Why will you still be (P)struck down?
Why will you (Q)continue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.
6 (R)From the sole of the foot even to the head,
there is no soundness in it,
but bruises and sores
and raw wounds;
they are (S)not pressed out or bound up
or softened with oil.
7 (T)Your country lies desolate;
your cities are burned with fire;
in your very presence
foreigners devour your land;
it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners.
8 And (U)the daughter of Zion is left
like a (V)booth in a vineyard,
like a lodge in a cucumber field,
like a besieged city.
9 (W)If the Lord of hosts
had not left us (X)a few survivors,
we should have been like (Y)Sodom,
and become like (Z)Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the Lord,
you rulers of (AA)(AB)Sodom!
Give ear to the teaching[b] of our God,
you people of (AC)Gomorrah!
11 (AD)“What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices?
says the Lord;
I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed beasts;
I do not delight in the blood of bulls,
or of lambs, or of goats.
12 “When you come to (AE)appear before me,
who has required of you
this trampling of my courts?
13 Bring no more vain offerings;
incense is an abomination to me.
(AF)New moon and Sabbath and the (AG)calling of convocations—
I cannot endure (AH)iniquity and (AI)solemn assembly.
14 Your (AJ)new moons and your appointed feasts
my soul hates;
they have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15 When you (AK)spread out your hands,
I will hide my eyes from you;
(AL)even though you make many prayers,
I will not listen;
(AM)your hands are full of blood.
16 (AN)Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
(AO)cease to do evil,
17 learn to do good;
(AP)seek justice,
correct oppression;
(AQ)bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow's cause.
18 “Come now, (AR)let us reason[c] together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as (AS)white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.
19 (AT)If you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;
20 but if you refuse and rebel,
you shall be eaten by the sword;
(AU)for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
The Unfaithful City
21 How the faithful city
(AV)has become a whore,[d]
(AW)she who was full of justice!
Righteousness lodged in her,
but now murderers.
22 (AX)Your silver has become dross,
your best wine mixed with water.
23 Your princes are rebels
and companions of thieves.
Everyone (AY)loves a bribe
and runs after gifts.
(AZ)They do not bring justice to the fatherless,
and the widow's cause does not come to them.
24 Therefore the (BA)Lord declares,
the Lord of hosts,
the (BB)Mighty One of Israel:
“Ah, I will get relief from my enemies
(BC)and avenge myself on my foes.
25 (BD)I will turn my hand against you
and will smelt away your (BE)dross as with lye
and remove all your alloy.
26 And I will restore your judges (BF)as at the first,
and your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward (BG)you shall be called the city of righteousness,
the faithful city.”
27 (BH)Zion shall be redeemed by justice,
and those in her who repent, by righteousness.
28 (BI)But rebels and sinners shall be broken together,
and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.
29 (BJ)For they[e] shall be ashamed of (BK)the oaks
that you desired;
and you shall blush for (BL)the gardens
that you have chosen.
30 For you shall be (BM)like an oak
whose leaf withers,
and like a garden without water.
31 And the strong shall become (BN)tinder,
and his work a spark,
and both of them shall burn together,
with (BO)none to quench them.

责民悖逆
1 当乌西雅、约坦、亚哈斯、希西家做犹大王的时候，亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚得默示，论到犹大和耶路撒冷。
2 天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。 3 牛认识主人，驴认识主人的槽，以色列却不认识，我的民却不留意。”
叹其受罚仍不悔改
4 嗐，犯罪的国民，担着罪孽的百姓，行恶的种类，败坏的儿女！他们离弃耶和华，藐视以色列的圣者，与他生疏，往后退步。 5 你们为什么屡次悖逆？还要受责打吗？你们已经满头疼痛，全心发昏。 6 从脚掌到头顶，没有一处完全的，尽是伤口、青肿与新打的伤痕，都没有收口，没有缠裹，也没有用膏滋润。 7 你们的地土已经荒凉，你们的城邑被火焚毁，你们的田地在你们眼前为外邦人所侵吞，既被外邦人倾覆，就成为荒凉。 8 仅存锡安城[a]，好像葡萄园的草棚，瓜田的茅屋，被围困的城邑。 9 若不是万军之耶和华给我们稍留余种，我们早已像所多玛、蛾摩拉的样子了。
虽守节献祭仍行作恶
10 你们这所多玛的官长啊，要听耶和华的话！你们这蛾摩拉的百姓啊，要侧耳听我们神的训诲！ 11 耶和华说：“你们所献的许多祭物与我何益呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经够了；公牛的血、羊羔的血、公山羊的血，我都不喜悦。 12 你们来朝见我，谁向你们讨这些，使你们践踏我的院宇呢？ 13 你们不要再献虚浮的供物！香品是我所憎恶的，月朔和安息日并宣召的大会也是我所憎恶的，做罪孽又守严肃会我也不能容忍。 14 你们的月朔和节期，我心里恨恶，我都以为麻烦，我担当便不耐烦。 15 你们举手祷告，我必遮眼不看，就是你们多多地祈祷我也不听，你们的手都满了杀人的血。
教以除恶行善之道
16 “你们要洗濯，自洁，从我眼前除掉你们的恶行。要止住作恶， 17 学习行善，寻求公平，解救受欺压的，给孤儿申冤，为寡妇辨屈。”
悔改则降之以福否则必加之以祸
18 耶和华说：“你们来，我们彼此辩论。你们的罪虽像朱红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。 19 你们若甘心听从，必吃地上的美物； 20 若不听从，反倒悖逆，必被刀剑吞灭。”这是耶和华亲口说的。
叹圣城败坏
21 可叹忠信的城变为妓女！从前充满了公平，公义居在其中，现今却有凶手居住！ 22 你的银子变为渣滓，你的酒用水掺兑。 23 你的官长居心悖逆，与盗贼做伴，各都喜爱贿赂，追求赃私。他们不为孤儿申冤，寡妇的案件也不得呈到他们面前。
锡安必蒙救赎
24 因此主万军之耶和华，以色列的大能者说：“哎！我要向我的对头雪恨，向我的敌人报仇。 25 我必反手加在你身上，炼尽你的渣滓，除净你的杂质。 26 我也必复还你的审判官，像起初一样；复还你的谋士，像起先一般。然后你必称为公义之城，忠信之邑。” 27 锡安必因公平得蒙救赎，其中归正的人必因公义得蒙救赎。 28 但悖逆的和犯罪的必一同败亡，离弃耶和华的必致消灭。 29 那等人必因你们所喜爱的橡树抱愧，你们必因所选择的园子蒙羞。 30 因为你们必如叶子枯干的橡树，好像无水浇灌的园子。 31 有权势的必如麻瓤，他的工作好像火星，都要一同焚毁，无人扑灭。

1 هَذِهِ هِيَ رُؤْيَا إِشَعْيَاءَ بْنِ آمُوصَ، الَّتِي أُعْلِنَتْ لَهُ بِشَأْنِ يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ فِي أَثْنَاءِ حُكْمِ كُلٍّ مِنْ عُزِّيَّا وَيُوثَامَ وَآحَازَ وَحِزْقِيَّا مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا.
2 اسْمَعِي أَيَّتُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَأَصْغِي أَيَّتُهَا الأَرْضُ لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ يَتَكَلَّمُ: «رَبَّيْتُ أَبْنَاءَ وَأَنْشَأْتُهُمْ وَلَكِنَّهُمْ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيَّ. 3 الثَّوْرُ يَعْرِفُ قَانِيَهُ، وَالْحِمَارُ مَعْلِفَ صَاحِبِهِ، أَمَّا إِسْرَائِيلُ فَلا يَعْرِفُ، وَشَعْبِي لَا يُدْرِكُ. 4 وَيْلٌ لِلأُمَّةِ الْخَاطِئَةِ، الشَّعْبِ الْمُثَقَّلِ بِالإِثْمِ، ذُرِّيَّةِ مُرْتَكِبِي الشَّرِّ، أَبْنَاءِ الْفَسَادِ. لَقَدْ تَرَكُوا الرَّبَّ وَاسْتَهَانُوا بِقُدُّوسِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَدَارُوا عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ. 5 عَلَى أَيِّ مَوْضِعٍ أَضْرِبُكُمْ بَعْدُ؟ لِمَاذَا تُوَاظِبُونَ عَلَى التَّمَرُّدِ؟ إِنَّ الرَّأْسَ بِجُمْلَتِهِ سَقِيمٌ وَالْقَلْبَ بِكَامِلِهِ مَرِيضٌ. 6 مِنْ أَخْمَصِ الْقَدَمِ إِلَى قِمَّةِ الرَّأْسِ لَيْسَ فِيهِ عَافِيَةٌ. كُلُّهُ جُرُوحٌ وَأَحْبَاطٌ وَقُرُوحٌ لَمْ تُنَظَّفْ، وَلَمْ تُضَمَّدْ، وَلَمْ تُلَيَّنْ بِالزَّيْتِ. 7 عَمَّ الْخَرَابُ بِلادَكُمْ وَالْتَهَمَتِ النَّارُ مُدُنَكُمْ. نَهَبَ الْغُرَبَاءُ حُقُولَكُمْ أَمَامَ أَعْيُنِكُمْ. هِيَ خَرِبَةٌ، عَاثَ فِيهَا الْغُرَبَاءُ فَسَاداً. 8 فَأَضْحَتْ أُورُشَلِيمُ مَهْجُورَةً كَمِظَلَّةِ حَارِسٍ فِي كَرْمٍ أَوْ خَيْمَةٍ فِي حَقْلٍ لِلْقَثَاءِ أَوْ كَمَدِينَةٍ مُحَاصَرَةٍ. 9 لَوْلا أَنَّ الرَّبَّ الْقَدِيرَ حَفِظَ لَنَا بَقِيَّةً يَسِيرَةً، لأَصْبَحْنَا مِثْلَ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ.
10 اسْمَعُوا كَلِمَةَ الرَّبِّ يَا حُكَّامَ سَدُومَ. أَصْغُوا إِلَى شَرِيعَةِ إِلَهِنَا يَا أَهْلَ عَمُورَةَ: 11 مَاذَا تُجْدِينِي كَثْرَةُ ذَبَائِحِكُمْ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ؟ اتَّخَمْتُ مِنْ مُحْرَقَاتِ كِبَاشٍ وَشَحْمِ الْمُسَمَّنَاتِ، وَلا أُسَرُّ بِدَمِ عُجُولٍ وَخِرْفَانٍ وَتُيُوسٍ. 12 حِينَ جِئْتُمْ لِتَمْثُلُوا أَمَامِي، مَنْ طَلَبَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَدُوسُوا دُورِي؟ 13 كُفُّوا عَنْ تَقْدِيمِ قَرَابِينَ بَاطِلَةٍ، فَالْبَخُورُ رِجْسٌ لِي، وَكَذَلِكَ رَأْسُ الشَّهْرِ وَالسَّبْتُ وَالدُّعَاءُ إِلَى الْمَحْفَلِ، فَأَنَا لَا أُطِيقُ الاعْتِكَافَ مَعَ ارْتِكَابِ الإِثْمِ. 14 لَشَدَّ مَا تُبْغِضُ نَفْسِي احْتِفَالاتِ رُؤُوسِ شُهُورِكُمْ وَمَوَاسِمَ أَعْيَادِكُمْ! صَارَتْ عَلَيَّ عِبْئاً، وَسَئِمْتُ حَمْلَهَا. 15 عِنْدَمَا تَبْسُطُونَ نَحْوِي أَيْدِيَكُمْ أَحْجُبُ وَجْهِي عَنْكُمْ، وَإِنْ أَكْثَرْتُمُ الصَّلاةَ لَا أَسْتَجِيبُ، لأَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ مَمْلُوءَةٌ دَماً. 16 اغْتَسِلُوا، تَطَهَّرُوا، أَزِيلُوا شَرَّ أَعْمَالِكُمْ مِنْ أَمَامِ عَيْنَيَّ. كُفُّوا عَنِ اقْتِرَافِ الإِثْمِ، 17 وَتَعَلَّمُوا الإِحْسَانَ، انْشُدُوا الْحَقَّ، أَنْصِفُوا الْمَظْلُومَ، اقْضُوا لِلْيَتِيمِ، وَدَافِعُوا عَنِ الأَرْمَلَةِ. 18 تَعَالَوْا نَتَحَاجَجْ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، إِنْ كَانَتْ خَطَايَاكُمْ كَلَطَخَاتٍ قِرْمِزِيَّةٍ فَإِنَّهَا تَبْيَضُّ كَالثَّلْجِ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ حَمْرَاءَ كَصَبْغةِ الدُّودِيِّ تُصْبِحُ فِي نَقَاءِ الصُّوفِ! 19 إِنْ شِئْتُمْ وَأَطَعْتُمْ تَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِخَيْرَاتِ الأَرْضِ، 20 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ أَبَيْتُمْ وَتَمَرَّدْتُمْ فَالسَّيْفُ يَلْتَهِمُكُمْ، لأَنَّ فَمَ الرَّبِّ قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ.
21 كَيْفَ صَارَتِ الْمَدِينَةُ الأَمِينَةُ عَاهِرَةً؟ كَانَتْ تَفِيضُ حَقّاً، وَيَأْوِي إِلَيْهَا الْعَدْلُ، فَأَصْبَحَتْ وَكْراً لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ. 22 صَارَتْ فِضَّتُكِ مُزَيَّفَةً، وَخَمْرُكِ مَغْشُوشَةً بِمَاءٍ. 23 أَصْبَحَ رُؤَسَاؤُكِ عُصَاةً وَشُرَكَاءَ لُصُوصٍ، يُوْلَعُونَ بِالرِّشْوَةِ وَيَسْعَوْنَ وَرَاءَ الْهِبَاتِ، لَا يُدَافِعُونَ عَنِ الْيَتِيمِ، وَلا تُرْفَعُ إِلَيْهِمْ دَعْوَى الأَرْمَلَةِ».
24 لِذَلِكَ يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ رَبُّ الْجُنُودِ، عَزِيزُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: «لَأَسْتَرِيحَنَّ مِنْ مُقَاوِمِيَّ وَلَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِنْ أَعْدَائِي. 25 لَأُعَاقِبَنَّكِ وَأُنَقِّيَنَّكِ مِنْ غِشِّكِ كَمَا تُنَقَّى الْمَعَادِنُ بِالْبَوْرَقِ، وَأُصَفِّيَنَّكِ مِنْ قَصْدِيرِكِ، 26 وَأُعِيدُ قُضَاتَكِ كَمَا كَانُوا فِي الْحِقَبِ الْغَابِرَةِ، وَمُشِيرِيكِ كَمَا كَانُوا فِي الْعُهُودِ الأُولَى. عِنْدَئِذٍ تُدْعَيْنَ مَدِينَةَ الْعَدْلِ، الْمَدِينَةَ الأَمِينَةَ. 27 فَتُفْدَى صِهْيَوْنُ بِالْحَقِّ، وَتَائِبُوهَا بِالْبِرِّ. 28 أَمَّا الْعُصَاةُ وَالْخُطَاةُ فَيَتَحَطَّمُونَ جَمِيعاً، وَيَبِيدُ الَّذِينَ تَرَكُوا الرَّبَّ. 29 وَيَعْتَرِيكُمْ خَجَلٌ لِعِبَادَتِكُمْ شَجَرَةَ الْبَلُّوطِ الَّتِي شُغِفْتُمْ بِها، وَالْعَارُ لإِيثَارِكُمُ الْحَدَائِقَ بِأَوْثَانِهَا. 30 لأَنَّكُمْ تُصْبِحُونَ كَبَلُّوطَةٍ ذَبُلَتْ أَوْرَاقُهَا، أَوْ حَدِيقَةٍ غَاضَ مِنْهَا الْمَاءُ، 31 فَيَصِيرُ القَوِيُّ كَفَتِيلَةٍ وَأَعْمَالُهُ (الشِّرِّيرَةُ) شَرَارَةً لاهِبَةً فَيَحْتَرِقَانِ مَعاً بِنَارٍ لَا يَقْوَى أَحَدٌ عَلَى إِخْمَادِهَا».
