^18 (A)Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for ^(B)signs and wonders in Israel from Yahweh of hosts, who ^(C)dwells on Mount Zion.

³ And Yahweh said, “Even as My servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot three years as a ^(A)sign and wonder against Egypt and ^[a](B)Ethiopia,

⁶ In their sight, carry the baggage on your shoulder and bring it out in the dark. You shall ^(A)cover your face so that you cannot see the land, for I have set you as a ^(B)wondrous sign to the house of Israel.”

¹¹ Say, ‘I am ^[a]a ^(A)wondrous sign to you. As I have done, so it will be done to them; they will ^(B)go into exile, into captivity.’

²⁴ Thus Ezekiel will be a ^(A)wondrous sign to you; according to all that he has done you will do; when it comes, then you will know that I am Lord Yahweh.’”

²⁵ ‘Now as for you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their ^(B)strong defense, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and what lifts up their soul, their sons and their daughters, ²⁶ that on that day he who ^(C)escapes will come to you with a report for your ears? ²⁷ On that day your ^(D)mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a wondrous sign to them, and they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
