¹⁷ Why, O Yahweh, do You ^(A)cause us to stray from Your ways
And ^(B)stiffen our heart from fearing You?
^(C)Return for the sake of Your slaves, the tribes of Your inheritance.

⁶ Therefore, behold, I will ^(A)hedge up ^[a]her way with ^(B)thorns,
And I will build ^[b]a wall against her so that she cannot find her ^(C)paths.
