¹⁶ For You are our ^(A)Father, though ^(B)Abraham does not know us
And Israel does not recognize us.
You, O Yahweh, are our Father,
Our ^(C)Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

^9 (A)With weeping they will come,
And by supplication I will lead them;
I will make them walk by ^(B)streams of waters,
On a straight path in which they will ^(C)not stumble;
For I am a ^(D)father to Israel,
