and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,

¹³but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

⁷he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said),

“Today if you will hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”Psalm 95:7-8
