Isaiah 6:12-13

12 and the Lord removes people far away,
    and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
13 (A)And though a tenth remain in it,
    it will be burned[a] again,
like a terebinth or an oak,
    whose stump (B)remains
    when it is felled.”
(C)The holy seed[b] is its stump.

    it will again be laid waste.(D)
But as the terebinth and oak
    leave stumps(E) when they are cut down,
    so the holy(F) seed will be the stump in the land.”(G)
