18 I have seen his ways, (A)but I will heal him;
I will lead him (B)and restore comfort to him and his mourners,
19 (C)creating (D)the fruit of the lips.
(E)Peace, peace, (F)to the far and to the near,” says the Lord,
(G)“and I will heal him.
20 (H)But the wicked are like the tossing sea;
for it cannot be quiet,
and its waters toss up mire and dirt.
21 (I)There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

18 I have seen their ways, but I will heal(A) them;
I will guide(B) them and restore comfort(C) to Israel’s mourners,
19 creating praise on their lips.(D)
Peace, peace,(E) to those far and near,”(F)
says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
20 But the wicked(G) are like the tossing sea,(H)
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire(I) and mud.
21 “There is no peace,”(J) says my God, “for the wicked.”(K)
