¹⁷ Because of the iniquity of his ^(A)greedy gain I was angry and struck him;
I hid My face and was angry,
And he went on ^(B)turning away, in the way of his heart.

¹⁷ “But your eyes and your heart
Are set on nothing except your own ^(A)greedy gain
And on ^(B)shedding innocent blood
And on doing oppression and extortion.”
