⁸ Listen! Your watchmen^(A) lift up their voices;^(B)
    together they shout for joy.^(C)
When the Lord returns^(D) to Zion,^(E)
    they will see it with their own eyes.
⁹ Burst into songs of joy^(F) together,
    you ruins^(G) of Jerusalem,
for the Lord has comforted^(H) his people,
    he has redeemed Jerusalem.^(I)
10 The Lord will lay bare his holy arm^(J)
    in the sight of all the nations,^(K)
and all the ends of the earth^(L) will see
    the salvation^(M) of our God.

¹¹ Depart,^(N) depart, go out from there!
    Touch no unclean thing!^(O)
Come out from it and be pure,^(P)
    you who carry the articles^(Q) of the Lord’s house.
¹² But you will not leave in haste^(R)
    or go in flight;
for the Lord will go before you,^(S)
    the God of Israel will be your rear guard.^(T)
