The Suffering and Glory of the Servant

¹⁴ He was given authority,^(A) glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him.^(B) His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom^(C) is one that will never be destroyed.^(D)

³² God has raised this Jesus to life,^(A) and we are all witnesses^(B) of it.

³³ Exalted^(A) to the right hand of God,^(B) he has received from the Father^(C) the promised Holy Spirit^(D) and has poured out^(E) what you now see and hear.

³⁰ The God of our ancestors^(A) raised Jesus from the dead^(B)—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.^(C)

³¹ God exalted him to his own right hand^(A) as Prince and Savior^(B) that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.^(C)

²⁰ he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead^(A) and seated him at his right hand^(B) in the heavenly realms,^{(C) 21} far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,^(D) and every name^(E) that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.^(F)

⁹ But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor^(A) because he suffered death,^(B) so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.^(C)
