It comes from the wilderness, from a terrifying land.

⁴ For You have been a ^(A)defense for the helpless,
A defense for the needy in his distress,
A ^(B)refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat;
For the breath of the ^(C)ruthless
Is like a rain storm against a wall.

² Behold, the Lord has a strong and ^(A)mighty agent;
As a storm of ^(B)hail, a tempest of destruction,
Like a storm of ^(C)mighty overflowing waters,
He has cast it down to the earth with His hand.

¹³ “Behold, he ^(A)goes up like clouds,
And his ^(B)chariots like the whirlwind;
His horses are ^(C)swifter than eagles.
Woe to us, for ^(D)we are ruined!”
