Isaiah 46:9-11

⁹Remember the former things of old:
    for I am God, and there is no other.
    I am God, and there is none like me.
¹⁰I declare the end from the beginning,
    and from ancient times things that are not yet done.
I say: My counsel will stand,
    and I will do all that I please.
¹¹I call a ravenous bird from the east,
    the man of my counsel from a far country.
Yes, I have spoken.
    I will also bring it to pass.
I have planned.
    I will also do it.

⁹[Earnestly] remember the former things, [which I did] of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me,

¹⁰Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose,

¹¹Calling a ravenous bird from the east—the man [Cyrus] who executes My counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed it, and I will do it.

    I am God, and there is no other;
    I am God, and there is none like me.^(C)
¹⁰I make known the end from the beginning,^(D)
    from ancient times,^(E) what is still to come.^(F)
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,^(G)
    and I will do all that I please.’
¹¹From the east I summon^(H) a bird of prey;^(I)
    from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
    what I have planned,^(J) that I will do.^(K)
