27 It is I who says to the depth of the sea, ‘Be dried up!’
And I will make your rivers (A)dry.

Or have I no power to deliver?
Behold, I (C)dry up the sea with My rebuke,
I (D)make the rivers a wilderness;
Their fish stink for lack of water

He dries up all the rivers.
(B)Bashan and Carmel wither;
The blossoms of Lebanon wither.
Mountains (C)quake because of Him
And the hills (D)dissolve;
Indeed the earth is (E)upheaved by His presence,
The (F)world and all the inhabitants in it.
(G)Who can stand before His indignation?
Who can endure the (H)burning of His anger?
His (I)wrath is poured out like fire
And the (J)rocks are broken up by Him.
