⁴ Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I am the Lord, the first
and with the last^(A)—I am he.”^(B)

¹⁰ “You are my witnesses”^(A)—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
“and my servant whom I have chosen,^(B)
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.^(C)
No god was formed before me,
and there will be none after me.^(D)
11 I—I am the Lord.
Besides me, there is no Savior.^(E)
12 I alone declared, saved, and proclaimed—
and not some foreign god^[a] among you.
So you are my witnesses”—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
“and^[b] I am God.^(F)
13 Also, from today on I am he alone,
and none can rescue from my power.^(G)
I act, and who can reverse it?” ^(H)

⁴ I will be the same until your old age,^(A)
and I will bear you up when you turn gray.
I have made you, and I will carry you;
I will bear and rescue you.
