Isaiah 40:8-10

8 (A)The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand for ever.
The Greatness of God
9 Get you up to a high mountain,
O Zion, (B)herald of good news;[a]
lift up your voice with strength,
O Jerusalem, herald of good news;[b]
lift it up, fear not;
say to the cities of Judah,
“Behold your God!”
10 (C)Behold, the Lord God comes with might,
and his arm rules for him;
(D)behold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.

go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,[a](F)
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
“Here is your God!”(G)
10 See, the Sovereign Lord comes(H) with power,(I)
and he rules(J) with a mighty arm.(K)
See, his reward(L) is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.
