Isaiah 40:8-10

8 The [a]grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.(A)
9 O you who bring good tidings to Zion, get up to the high mountain. O you who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength, lift it up, be not afraid; say to the cities of Judah, Behold your God!(B)
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.(C)

- Isaiah 40:8 The apostle Peter quotes this verse (I Pet. 1:24-25) and then adds, “and this Word is the good news which was preached to you”—which confirms as fact that Isaiah is here referring to the times of Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One.

New International Version
9 You who bring good news(E) to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,[a](F)
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
“Here is your God!”(G)
10 See, the Sovereign Lord comes(H) with power,(I)
and he rules(J) with a mighty arm.(K)
See, his reward(L) is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.
