37 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home, and remained at Nineveh. 38 Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Then (A)Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.

New International Version
37 So Sennacherib(A) king of Assyria broke camp and withdrew. He returned to Nineveh(B) and stayed there.
38 One day, while he was worshiping in the temple(C) of his god Nisrok, his sons Adrammelek and Sharezer killed him with the sword, and they escaped to the land of Ararat.(D) And Esarhaddon(E) his son succeeded him as king.(F)
