New American Standard Bible 1995
7 (A)Wild oxen will also [a]fall with them
And (B)young bulls with strong ones;
Thus their land will be (C)soaked with blood,
And their dust [b]become greasy with fat.
8 For the Lord has a day of (D)vengeance,
A year of recompense for the [c]cause of Zion.
9 [d]Its streams will be turned into pitch,
And its loose earth into (E)brimstone,
And its land will become burning pitch.
