⁶ The sword of the Lord is filled with blood,
It is ^[a]sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in ^(A)Bozrah
And a great slaughter in the land of ^(B)Edom.
^7 (C)Wild oxen will also ^[b]fall with them
And ^(D)young bulls with strong ones;
Thus their land will be ^(E)soaked with blood,
And their dust ^[c]become greasy with fat.

¹⁰ For ^(A)that day belongs to the Lord ^[a]God of hosts,
A day of ^(B)vengeance, so as to avenge Himself on His foes;
And the ^(C)sword will devour and be satiated
And ^[b]drink its fill of their blood;
For there will be a ^(D)slaughter for the Lord ^[c]God of hosts,
In the land of the north by the river Euphrates.
