⁶ The sword of Yahweh is filled with blood;
It is ^[a]sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For Yahweh has a sacrifice in ^(A)Bozrah
And a great slaughter in the land of ^(B)Edom.
^7 (C)And wild oxen will also ^[b]fall with them,
And ^(D)young bulls with strong ones;
Thus their land will be ^(E)soaked with blood,
And their dust ^[c]become greasy with fat.

¹⁰ Indeed, ^(A)that day belongs to Lord Yahweh of hosts,
A day of ^(B)vengeance, so as to avenge Himself on His adversaries;
And the ^(C)sword will devour and be satiated
And ^[a]drink its fill of their blood;
For there will be a ^(D)sacrifice to Lord Yahweh of hosts
In the land of the north by the river Euphrates.

^7 [a](A)Be silent before Lord Yahweh!
For the ^(B)day of Yahweh is near,
For Yahweh has prepared a ^(C)sacrifice;
He has ^(D)set apart His guests.
