⁶ The sword of the Lord is filled with blood,
It is ^[a]sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in ^(A)Bozrah
And a great slaughter in the land of ^(B)Edom.

⁶ “Ah, ^(A)sword of the Lord,
How long will you not be quiet?
Withdraw into your sheath;
Be at rest and stay still.

⁴ “And though they go into ^(A)captivity before their enemies,
From there I will command the sword that it slay them,
And I will ^(B)set My eyes against them for evil and not for good.”
