⁵ My sword^(A) has drunk its fill in the heavens;
    see, it descends in judgment on Edom,^(B)
    the people I have totally destroyed.^(C)

⁶ The sword^(A) of the Lord is bathed in blood,
    it is covered with fat—
the blood of lambs and goats,
    fat from the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice^(B) in Bozrah^(C)
    and a great slaughter^(D) in the land of Edom.

⁴ I will throw you on the land
    and hurl you on the open field.
I will let all the birds of the sky settle on you
    and all the animals of the wild gorge themselves on you.^(A)

⁵ I will spread your flesh on the mountains
    and fill the valleys^(A) with your remains.
