Isaiah 34:11-15
Legacy Standard Bible
11 But [a](A)pelican and hedgehog will possess it,
And [b]owl and raven will dwell in it;
And He will stretch over it the (B)line of utter formlessness
And the [c]plumb line of utter void.
12 Its nobles—there is (C)no one there
Whom they may proclaim king—
And all its princes will be (D)non-existent.
13 And thorns will come up in its (E)fortified towers,
Weeds and thistles in its fortified cities;
It will also be a haunt of (F)jackals
And an abode of ostriches.
14 And the desert (G)creatures will meet with the [d]wolves;
The [e](H)hairy goat also will cry to its kind;
Surely, the [f]night creature will obtain relief there
And will find itself a resting place.
15 The [g]owl will make its nest and find its escape there,
And it will hatch its eggs and gather them in its shade.
Surely, (I)the [h]falcons will be gathered there,
Every one with its kind.

All the beasts of the nation;
