16 Then justice shall dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness shall abide in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence for ever. 18 And my people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.

16 The Lord’s justice(A) will dwell in the desert,(B)
    his righteousness(C) live in the fertile field.
17 The fruit of that righteousness(D) will be peace;(E)
    its effect will be quietness and confidence(F) forever.
18 My people will live in peaceful(G) dwelling places,
    in secure homes,(H)
    in undisturbed places of rest.(I)
