34 By the way that he came, by the same way he shall return, and he shall not come into this city, says the Lord.

35 For I will defend this city to save it, for My own sake and for the sake of My servant David.

    or build a siege ramp(B) against it.
34 By the way that he came he will return;(C)
    he will not enter this city,”
declares the Lord.
35 “I will defend(D) this city and save it,
    for my sake(E) and for the sake of David(F) my servant!”
